Important Safety Recall Information

Breez Recall and Replacement

Description

On April 9,  2026, SNOOZ, in conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, announced a voluntary recall of first generation Breez fans sold in the U.S. and Canada.

As part of the recall, SNOOZ is offering a free second generation Breez fan to customers with first generation products.

Reason for Recall

The power connector inside the fan can corrode and cause the fan to overheat, posing a risk of fire. SNOOZ has received six reports of the fans overheating and smoking with one report of fire. There have been no injuries or damage to property other than to the Breez unit itself.

Determine if your Breez is included

The recall applies to Breez fans manufactured between May 2023 and August 2025. Affected units have serial numbers beginning with BZ10 (format: BZ10XXXXXXXX) or BZ02 (format: BZ02XXXXXXXX) or KTCD (format: KTCDXXXXXXXXX). You can find the serial number on the underside of the wooden base. These units also use a removable barrel jack–style power connector.
